This week, we'd like to help hundreds of toddlers and babies who will soon be in need of warm clothes.
We'd love you to help us stock a special free 'shop' run for homeless women with children under 5. It's run by our friends at The Magpie Project in Newham. Many of the families they help are staying in temporary accommodation, often sharing tiny hostel rooms. The children need warm clothes more than most...their mums often end up walking in all weather to save on bus fares, so waterproofs and warm coats are essential.
There are over 300 children aged under 5 being supported, and we'd love to provide as many as we can with a warm coat or pramsuit.
We've created a wishlist filled with the items needed, and any donations will also go towards buying more. You can also send in good quality second-hand coats and pramsuits if you have them (details below).
