One of the things that makes 52 Lives unique is that 100% of what people give goes to the person we are helping each week. Not a penny goes to 52 Lives. The reason we are able to do that is because of the generosity and kindness of our corporate partners, who help to cover our running costs as well as directly helping people in need.
52 Lives is so grateful to all of the team at Gala Bingo, and the players, whose generosity helps us to change lives every single week. Each week, Gala Bingo runs special '52 Lives' games on their website and all proceeds are donated to us. This not only helps to keep 52 Lives running, but also directly changes people's lives.

In 2016, 52 Lives founder Jaime Thurston was named Clarins Most Dynamisante Woman of the Year. This award recognises the commitment of an exceptional woman who, through her organisation’s work, restores happiness, hope and dignity to children in need. Jaime used the prize money from the award to launch the School Kindness Project, which inspires and empowers thousands of children every year to be kinder and make a difference in the world.
