This week, we’d love to show some kindness to 200 incredible mums, in time for Mother’s Day next week.

Many of the women we’ll be helping are living in temporary accommodation with their children, sometimes all in one room, sharing bathrooms, with no proper cooking facilities. Some are sofa-surfing, never knowing when they might have to move again.
Our friends at The Magpie Project support mums with children under-fives who are facing homelessness. They’re planning special Mother’s Day events to remind these women that they matter. We’d like to help make sure every mum who attends receives a present.Jane, who founded the charity, said: “Can you imagine mothering with nothing? Staying awake at night so ants or mice don’t crawl over your children while they sleep? Camping on the floor so they can have the only bed? This is happening now.”
These mums are doing an extraordinary job in the hardest of circumstances. We’ve created a wishlist of filled with gifts suggested by The Magpie Project, and any donations will also help fund the Mother’s Day celebrations and any other practical support they need. We would also love lots of cards and kind messages, which will be shared with the mums at the Mother’s Day events.
