This week, we’re doing some very last-minute Christmas shopping 🎄.Over the next few days, we’d like to send some gift cards for women and children staying in refuges over Christmas.

We’ve already been able to provide some gifts for women and children staying in refuges in Berkshire and Scotland. But we know that a few more gift cards would mean more families being helped.

Families often arrive at refuges with almost nothing, and Christmas can feel especially hard. A gift card can mean a child getting a present they’ve chosen themselves, a mum being able to buy a treat, or a family feeling like someone cares.

We’d love to send some extra gift cards to help spread a bit more joy. These will be given directly to families staying in the refuges over Christmas, so they can choose what they need most. We’ve set up an Amazon wishlist with gift cards for the Berkshire refuge, and we’ll use donations from this week to buy gift cards for the Scottish refuge too.

Any extra gift cards we received that are not needed for Christmas will be used for birthdays, new arrivals, or moments when a family needs a lift. Thank you for helping us share a bit of Christmas joy with families who really deserve it. ✨
