Request: Donations / Gifts / New Home cards

This week, we’d like to help a 23 year old woman called Hayley and her 3 year old son.

Hayley and her son were living with her parents, but the relationship was strained. They were abusive to Hayley to the point where she felt she had to leave.

She had nowhere to go and was homeless, so social services placed her son in the temporary custody of her parents – Hayley was devastated but knew things would be better if she wasn’t living there. She has been desperately trying to find permanent accommodation so she could regain custody.

For the past 7 months, Hayley has been moving between B&Bs, hotels and hostels … but has just received the news that she has secured a permanent flat and will get the keys this week!

She was nominated by her homelessness support worker who said: “Hayley is over the moon to be able to have her son living with her full time. But she has very limited household items and would obviously like to get set up as soon as possible so she can start a new chapter with her son.”

We’d like to help.
