#298 Jessa and Ellie

Request: Donations / Things for their bedroom / Kind messages

This week, we’d like to help two sisters, Jessa and Ellie.

Jessa’s step-dad (Ellie’s dad) has been abusive to her and her mum for years. He was kinder to Ellie as she ‘was his’. It was hard for Jessa and affected her self-esteem. He has finally moved out but, when he left, he stripped the home of most of their belongings.

Their mum has been slowly replacing their things, but it’s a struggle.

The girls don't have much, and Jessa has to sleep in her mum’s room at the moment. The furniture they do have in their bedrooms is dangerous and needs to be replaced.

The social worker who nominated them said: "Their mum is doing her best with what she has, and is beginning to blossom herself now she is out from under her ex. I would love to help her do this for her daughters”.
