Request: Spreading kindness to Tegan

This week, 52 Lives visited Barley Croft Primary School in Leicester to run a Kindness Workshop. While we were there, we told the children all about a little girl called Tegan from Camberley in Surrey.

In the summer, Tegan was diagnosed with a Wilm’s Tumour, which is a type of kidney cancer. She's since had one of her kidneys removed and a tumour removed from her lung. She's in the middle of chemotherapy at the moment and has been in and out of hospital. It's so much for one young girl to go through.

The children at Barley Croft spent the morning making cards, drawing pictures, writing stories and recording beautiful video messages for Tegan - they were an amazing bunch, whose kindness has really touched the heart of this young girl and her family.

A message from Tegan's mum

"Tegan absolutely loved getting these messages, and I was just overwhelmed by it. I'm glad I chose to watch it beforehand without Tegan as I cried...what beautiful kind children they all are! And Jaime and friends I can't thank you all enough, forever in my heart xxx"

Greig and Jaime made a special visit to Tegan's house to deliver the boxes of cards and messages
