52 Lives

#28 Hyde Heath/Allington

Request: Love for a young carer

This week 52 Lives wanted to help a teenage girl called Molly. Molly was nominated by her mum, Miriam. Miriam is a disabled mother of two who struggles with anxiety and depression. At just 15 years old Molly helps look after both her mum and autistic brother. Day to day life is very challenging and Molly hasn't had the life of a regular teenager.

52 Lives wanted to let Molly know just how kind and wonderful she is, so we headed to two wonderful schools to help us do this - Hyde Heath in Buckinghamshire and Allington Primary in Kent. Our Director of Kindness had such fun at both schools and the interactive presentation about the impact kindness can have on the world was heartwarming to say the least. Upon hearing about Molly and her family the children couldn't wait to send their love and support.

The children made gifts, video messages and wrote cards with the most beautiful messages inside letting Molly know what a special and inspiring girl she is. Greig's car was filled by the time he left the schools and we were overwhelmed when we saw what these kind children had done for this brave family.
